RAILCATS’ REMAINING PRESEASON GAMES

Gary, Ind. — The five remaining games on the
2007 Northern League Champion Gary SouthShore RailCats’ exhibition schedule
will be broadcast live on WEFM, 95.9 FM, along with www.SportsJuice.com.
The
flagship home of the RailCats since 2003, WEFM is located in Michigan City, Ind.
and will carry all 96 regular season games and any additional postseason
contests once again in 2008.
The
RailCats began the exhibition season with an 8-2 win over Joliet Tuesday and will play at U. S. Steel
Yard once again on Friday, hosting the Frontier League’s Rockford RiverHawks at
1:00 p.m. That game will be the first to
air on WEFM, with the schedule continuing with three road games, May 10-12
against the Southern Illinois Miners and River City Rascals. The RailCats’ final exhibition contest is
slated for May 13 against the Traverse City Beach Bums at U. S. Steel Yard.
The RailCats begin the regular season Thursday,
May 15 against Joliet, and tickets to that game are available now by calling
(219) 882-BALL or logging on to www.RailCatsBaseball.com.
Fans outside of Northwest
Indiana can listen to the RailCats’ game action all season by
going to www.SportsJuice.com and

The Gary SouthShore RailCats are a Professional Minor League Baseball
Team serving Northwest Indiana and Chicago’s
south suburbs. The RailCats won the Northern League championship in 2005 and
2007 and for each of the last four years, they have been chosen “Best Local
Spectator Sport” by Northwest Indiana Business
Quarterly. Their 96 game schedule
