President of PLS Holdings

Dave Salvi was named the President of PLS Holdings, the RailCats holding company, in October 2010.

In his new role, Salvi will be charged with overseeing the club's overall mission, brand and philosophies as well as working closely with the holding company.  PLS Holdings is actively seeking new business opportunities both in and out of professional sports.

Previously, Salvi oversaw advertising and marketing opportunities for the club as the Manager of Advertising & Promotions, seeking out beneficial relationships with outlets across The Region.  He develops, designs and produces all advertising associated with the RailCats.  Salvi also oversees the Gameday production and execution of the year’s promotions, perpetuating U. S. Steel Yard’s fun atmosphere and developing ballpark staples for the crowd’s entertainment.

Prior to joining the RailCats, Salvi worked for Dig Communications, a Chicago-based public relations firm.  There he assisted in strategic planning, tactical research gathering and media relations efforts.  Salvi graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2007 with a degree in advertising and public relations.

Salvi is also responsible for nicknaming all members of the RailCats front office staff.

He is the second of Pat & Lindy Salvi’s five children and resides in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago.
