RailCats Baseball: A Tradition of Excellence
What is the RailCats Tradition of Excellence?
Winning Baseball:
The RailCats won Northern League Championships in 2005 and 2007 and are the only team in Northern League history to reach the Championship Series four years in a row (2005-08). The RailCats Manager, Greg Tagert, has in fact never had a losing season in his 13 years as a manager in independent baseball.
Bang for Your Entertainment Buck:
You can bring a family of four to a RailCats game, sit right behind home plate, park next to the stadium, buy four hot dogs, get four soft drinks, and even buy a pennant for less than $70. And that’s before you take advantage of one of the RailCats great ticket offers, group packages or food & merchandise discounts.
Fun for the Whole Family
A day at U. S. Steel Yard is non-stop fun, and that’s even without the baseball! The RailCats promise a wide array of laugh-out-loud between inning entertainment, great giveaways on Saturdays, jaw-dropping fireworks on Fridays and a family-first, kid-friendly atmosphere every day of the week. RailCats fans come in all ages, shapes and sizes, and the RailCats promise every fan will have fun.
An Award-Winning Stadium and Organization
The RailCats home, U. S. Steel Yard, is widely recognized as one of the top minor league ballparks in the country, and the folks who work inside aren’t too shabby either. The RailCats were the 2006 Northern League Organization of the Year and from the President down to the ushers, the RailCats promise attentive customer service and a polite, smiling face to welcome you.
