The RailCats invite Region students out to U. S. Steel Yard for their annual Kids Field Trip Days May 24 and 25 at 11 a.m. at U. S. Steel Yard!  Kids Days not only build lasting memories for kids, they’re also an unbeatable value!

2011 "Rusty's Get in Shape Game" Contest for Grades K-8
Rusty and Rascal have put on a few extra pounds this winter and we want them to fit into their old uniforms for our 10th anniversary season!  We've put them on a regimented diet, so no need to worry about them eating smart.  Loveable as they are, it's sometimes challenging to get the two 'Cats to exercise.  We would like for your class to create a game focusing on exercise and physical activity, since we know they love to play games. Enclosed in this packet is piece of cardboard to design your board game on, as well as some construction paper to use as you see fit.  Feel free to add more to it and be as creative as possible.  They love to play Monopoly, Chutes & Ladders, and Scrabble, but they've been sitting for too long and not burning enough calories.  Can you create a game that's not only fun, but helps get our two big 'Cats back in shape?  There will be one winning class per grade and the winners will have a party on us and get some great prizes!

Once the game is completed, schools can mail or bring them to Gary SouthShore RailCats, ATTN: Radley Robinson One Stadium Plaza, Gary, IN, 46402. Once the games are in the hands of the RailCats, a panel will judge them on May 10th, 2011.
