First-Ever Fan Fest Draws Nearly 1,000 Fans

The RailCats Second Annual Fan Fest will be here before you know it, with all the fun and games returning to the Radisson Hotel in Merrillville on Saturday, February 20 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

A one-of-a-kind minor league baseball event, Fan Fest combines everything fans have come to know and love about baseball at U. S. Steel Yard, just without the summer sun and a game being played.  Highlighted by stadium-style games, player autographs, question-and-answer forums with the RailCats top decision-makers, player-conducted clinics for aspiring RailCats and more, Fan Fest is the perfect cure for the winter blues for fans of all ages.

Fan Fest tickets are $20 for adults, and $10 for kids (age 12 and under) and 2010 RailCats season ticket holders.  The first 1,000 fans to buy a Fan Fest ticket will also get a voucher for a seat at Opening Day, Thursday, May 20 at 7 p.m. at U. S. Steel Yard along with a souvenir poster and program.  Plus, the first 500 kids at Fan Fest will get a free souvenir baseball from Hoosier Bat Company and the first 500 adults will get a Fan Fest t-shirt.

Fan Fest tickets are only $20 if you buy in advance, however, with the price going up to $25 on the day of the event.  Tickets are available at www.railcatsbaseball.com, by calling the RailCats at 219.882.2255 or dropping in at U. S. Steel Yard during regular business hours.

The RailCats are proud to announce the following confirmed guests for the 2010 Fan Fest:
