GARY, Ind. — The Gary SouthShore RailCats are making it easy to get your shopping done this holiday season, opening the SouthShore Depot II Store at Westfield Southlake in Merrillville from Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve.

The SouthShore Depot II will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays beginning November 28, and will have brand new 2009 merchandise along with RailCats season, mini-plan and flex tickets for sale.  Located near the carousel on the mall’s lower level, the SouthShore Depot II will also be open the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before Christmas Day in addition to the 12 weekend dates.

As a special bonus, any fans that spend at least $30 on RailCats merchandise or any of our great ticket packages at Westfield Southlake will get a free reserved seat ticket to Opening Day at U. S. Steel Yard this May.  Fans who stop by between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday December 6 or 13 will get another treat, as Rusty the RailCat will be in his Santa suit, taking pictures with all the kids on his “good” list courtesy of Barry’s Photography in Valparaiso.
