ST. PAUL, Minn. — 18 hits and 10 runs was too much for Gary to overcome on Friday night at CHS Field in St. Paul, Minn., as the RailCats were shutout by the Saints, 10-0. Friday’s series opening defeat also ended Gary’s streak of three consecutive wins to begin a series.
The Saints increased their lead to eight with a five-run third inning. RBI doubles from Anthony Gallas and Jack Goihl gave St. Paul a five-run cushion before Oh delivered a two-out, bases-clearing triple to left-center, extending the Saints’ lead to eight.
